TURBOSMART blow off valve controller

The TURBOSMART blow off valve (BOV) controller is an electronic device that controls the pressure signal to the valve. When it detects a negative voltage change in throttle position it energises a solenoid that vents the air out of the valve cap, and the resulting pressure differential between piston and cap opens the valve to vent pressure from the intake system. It is intended for large diesel engines with larger turbochargers, which can experience compressor surge when coming off the throttle.
