Description

This simple, economical Adaptor Kit fits directly into the engine's top radiator hose and gives a watertight, effective temperature probe installation.

Two 1/4" NPT holes allow the fitment of a sensor and/or an air bleed. If only one hole is needed, the included bung closes the other.

It suits temperature sensors with either a 5mm (3/16") or a 6mm (1/4") outside diameter, and temperature gauge senders with a 1/4" NPT thread.

This is an accessory for the #0401, #0404, #0444 range and #0455 Thermatic Switches.

Installation

Fit the probe into the compression fitting. Remove about 17mm (2/3") of the top radiator hose, fit the adaptor between the two hose ends and tighten the hose clamps.

To use the kit with a Davies Craig Thermal Switch (Part #0400, #0401, #0404), use the 6mm olive supplied.
