Every year, Diamanty slovenského biznisu (Diamonds of Slovak Business) selects twelve companies: three each from Bratislava and from the Western, Central and Eastern Slovakia regions. "The selection includes Slovak private companies or international private companies operating in Slovakia that recorded revenues of between 5 and 75 million euros and EBITDA of at least 500,000 euros over the last three closed financial years. The condition is that their business was profitable over the assessed period, and the final say in the selection belongs to Enterprise Investors and the award's expert guarantor, PwC," wrote Forbes.
Our company, Races s.r.o., took 3rd place, right behind Antik Telecom and Vamex. We earned this ranking thanks to a year-on-year revenue growth of 48.5%, reaching 9.8 million euros with a net profit of 1.2 million euros. So that we can keep improving our services and climbing the rankings of Slovak business, this month we moved into our new premises. Moving out of the old building took more than 14 days of intensive work. Thousands of products passed through our hands, along with shelving and other equipment. Five vans kept rotating between the gates of the old and new halls, loaded to the roof with goods, so that we could get up and running as soon as possible and keep you supplied with the parts you need. The new Race-shop warehouse and store have moved to Rozvojová 2 in Košice, between the MotoZem and Aquaseed buildings. Here we have more than 10,000 m2 of warehouse space, which we intend to fill with stock locations so that we can bring you more products available for immediate dispatch. The two-storey building also offers a variety of office spaces and a beautiful view that takes in St. Elisabeth Cathedral, the airport and most of the residential districts of Košice.
A complete refurbishment of both the exterior and the interior is currently under way. The exterior will be finished in a modern style with a car mounted on the roof, as you can see in our visualisation by @ligrus_gelnica. We will officially unveil the complete premises at Meet and Greet 2025 together with the new store. There will be DJs, luxury and supersports cars and, for the first time, drifting on our own grounds.
