Description

The GEN II Digital Thermatic Fan Switch is the latest version of the Davies Craig fan controller. It has been redesigned for better usability, durability and performance.

The kit includes a ¼" NPT thermal sensor that measures the coolant temperature directly.

The GEN II replaces the previous 0445 model. It can run 1 or 2 fans and responds faster. Fan #1 switches on at your set temperature. Fan #2 follows just 5 seconds later (down from 10 seconds) to handle peak cooling loads. Both fans switch off once the temperature drops 5°C below the set point.

• Direct coolant sensing: the included ¼" NPT thermal sensor suits thermostat housings, radiators or engine blocks.
• Improved display and layout: a larger, clearer LED display shows °C or °F, and all wiring is moved to the rear for a cleaner installation.
• Advanced override control: two manual override wires control each fan independently, with selectable signal polarity (positive or negative).
• Enhanced durability: upgraded to an IP67 rating for better dust and water protection.
• Expanded temperature range: adjustable from 5°C to 110°C (41°F to 230°F).
• 12V and 24V compatible: 12V as standard; for 24V systems, swap to 24V relays (Part #10534, sold separately).

Warning
