Description

The GEN II Digital Thermatic Fan Switch is an upgraded cooling control kit. It improves on the previous version in usability, durability and performance.

The kit includes an M12 x 1.5 Thermal Sensor that measures coolant temperature directly.

The GEN II controller can run 1 or 2 fans and responds faster than before. Fan #1 switches on at your set temperature. Fan #2 switches on 5 seconds later to handle peak cooling loads. Both fans switch off when the temperature drops 5°C below the set point.

• Direct coolant sensing: the M12 x 1.5 thermal sensor suits metric-threaded thermostat housings, radiators or engine blocks.
• Improved display and layout: a larger, clearer LED display shows °C or °F. All wiring now connects at the rear for a cleaner installation.
• Advanced override control: two manual override wires let you control each fan separately. You can choose the signal polarity (positive or negative).
• Better durability: upgraded to an IP67 rating for stronger dust and water protection.
• Wider temperature range: adjustable from 5°C to 110°C (41°F to 230°F).
• 12V and 24V compatible: 12V as standard. For 24V systems, swap in 24V relays.

Warning

The switch runs on 12V as standard. A 24V system needs 24V relays (Part #10534), sold separately.
