These do not include an upper gasket, so they are for use on open cooling systems only.
These caps fit standard SAE "A" size (2 1/8" OD, 3/4" deep) filler necks.
The Stant Radiator Cap is designed to provide higher cooling system pressure which raises the boiling point of coolant to reduce the risk of overheating. This non-recovery system cap allows coolant to exit the system, but does not draw coolant back into the system. High pressure radiator caps are made for use on race vehicles only.
