COLOURLOCK Artificial Leather Protector is a conditioner developed specifically for modern synthetic materials such as artificial leather (eco-leather), faux leather, vinyl and plastics. This compact 100 ml bottle is a good choice for home use on smaller furniture, fashion accessories or parts of a car interior.

Unlike products made for genuine leather, which can leave a sticky film on synthetics, this protector works with the top coat of artificial leather to seal and protect it without changing its natural appearance.

Why is protecting artificial leather important?

Artificial leather (PU, PVC or vinyl) consists of a backing fabric and a synthetic top layer. Over time, UV radiation, sweat and friction lead to:

Brittleness: The material loses its plasticisers and starts to crack or peel.

Soiling: Dust and dyes from clothing (e.g. jeans) get into the pores and are later difficult to remove.

Fading: Sunlight breaks down the colourant and the material loses its original shade.

Where can you use the 100 ml bottle?

Fashion accessories: Handbags, backpacks, belts and faux leather jackets.

Home and office: Office chairs, bar stools, gaming chairs.

Cars and motorcycles: Interiors with "vegan leather", vinyl dashboards, faux leather motorcycle seats.

Directions for use

Preparation: The surface must be clean and dry. We recommend using a mild artificial leather cleaner.

Application: Apply a small amount of the product to a soft cloth (microfibre).

Spreading: Spread a thin, even layer over the whole surface. Do not rinse off!

Drying: Leave to dry (approx. 15–30 minutes). There is no need to buff the surface after drying.

Repeat: For the longest-lasting protection, apply every 3 months.

Important information

Material: For artificial leather, faux leather and vinyl only. Do not use on genuine leather (especially not on suede or nubuck).

Effect: The product keeps the original matt look. It leaves no shine or greasiness.

Colour protection: Reduces the risk of dye transfer, but with very poor-quality textiles (cheap jeans) protection may not be 100%.
