COLOURLOCK Degreaser is a solvent-free degreaser that thoroughly removes grease and dirt residue without affecting the leather's colour. Solvent-free and gentle on the colour, suitable for all types of leather including faux leather, and ideal for preparing leather before repair and recolouring.
COLOURLOCK Degreaser is a highly effective solvent-free cleaner and degreaser. It thoroughly removes grease, sweat and residue from previous treatments without damaging the leather's surface colour.
The product is ideal for preparing the surface before repairs, filling or recolouring, because it ensures new layers adhere properly. Thanks to its gentle formula, it is an excellent choice for all types of leather, including synthetic materials (faux leather).
Solvent-free: Degreases effectively while remaining very gentle on the leather's original colour and structure.
Universal compatibility: Suitable for all types of leather, from fine automotive leather to faux leather and napped leather.
Professional preparation: An essential step in leather repair that ensures the applied colour or filler lasts.
Cars (steering wheels, seats), leather furniture, leather goods such as handbags and jackets, and other vehicles.
Preparation: Apply the degreaser to a clean, dry, soft cloth.
Cleaning: Gently wipe over the greasy areas. Plain-coloured smooth leathers can be degreased more thoroughly once a compatibility test has been passed.
Special leathers: Take care with porous leathers such as napped or aniline leather. Only dampen the cloth very lightly, with a fine mist, to avoid tide marks and stains.
Drying: Always let the leather air dry. Do not use a hair dryer or any other heat source.
Aftercare: After degreasing and any repair, treat the leather again with a care product suited to the leather type.
Always check compatibility on a less visible area before use, and look for changes in look and feel.
Protect from frost and excessive heat.
