First, use COLOURLOCK Pol Star 1 l to remove dirt from the leather surface. After thorough cleaning and drying, use COLOURLOCK Leather Care 1 l, which helps keep the leather supple, refreshes its appearance and provides UV protection.

1. Gentle Cleaning with Pol Star

COLOURLOCK Pol Star is a pH-neutral concentrated cleaner suitable for leather, textiles and Alcantara. For cleaning leather, we recommend a dilution of approximately 1:5 to 1:20 depending on the degree of soiling.

Pour the prepared solution into the Koch-Chemie Foamer Bottle 150 ml. The foam dispenser produces a dry, rich foam, so you can apply the cleaner in a controlled way without soaking the leather surface unnecessarily.

Before first use, we always recommend checking colourfastness and material compatibility on a less visible area.

How to Clean Leather Properly

Apply the foam to a suitable cleaning tool and work the surface gently without excessive pressure. For more heavily soiled or textured leather, you can use the COLOURLOCK Leather Cleaning Brush, for example.

An alternative is the Koch-Chemie Interior Scrubber, which is also suitable for cleaning leather and other interior materials.

Then wipe off loosened dirt and cleaner residue with a clean, slightly damp microfibre cloth and let the leather dry completely.

2. Care and UV Protection with Leather Care

Then apply COLOURLOCK Leather Care to the clean, completely dry leather. The product is suitable for genuine and synthetic leather, including smooth and perforated surfaces.

Leather Care helps keep the material supple, refreshes its colour and, thanks to built-in UV protection, helps protect the leather from premature fading and ageing.

After application, the surface has a natural satin-matt finish that is neither greasy nor slippery.

How to Apply Leather Care

Shake the bottle well before use. Apply a small amount of the product to the soft Koch-Chemie applicator sponge and spread it over the leather in a thin, even coat.

Let the product air dry. If you have applied too much, simply wipe off the excess with a clean, soft microfibre cloth.
