REDARC SBI224 Smart Start battery isolator, 24 V, 200 A

The REDARC SBI224 Smart Start is a battery isolator for dual battery systems. It protects the start battery from excessive discharge while the auxiliary battery supplies non-essential loads. It runs at 24 V DC, is rated at 200 A continuous and is mainly intended for commercial vehicles and heavy-duty use. It is used instead of a diode battery isolator because it has less voltage drop. Electronic components inside stop the solenoid from generating high voltage transients. It should be installed together with a high quality fuse kit.
