REDARC SBI212D Smart Start dual sensing battery isolator, 12 V, 200 A

The REDARC Smart Start SBI212D is a microprocessor-controlled battery isolator for dual battery systems. It works as a solenoid priority system: it protects the start battery from excessive discharge while the auxiliary battery supplies non-essential loads. It is built for 12 V systems with a 200 A continuous rating and for extremely heavy-duty use. It is used mainly in 4WD and commercial vehicles and should be installed with a high-quality fuse kit.

Features:

• Dual sensing allows charging in both directions. The auxiliary battery can also be charged from an external source such as solar panels or a mains (AC) battery charger.
