Description

The 3M Trizact Hookit 30662 P5000 Ø150 mm is a professional foam abrasive disc for the final refinement of sanding marks before polishing automotive paint. It is used as the next step after sanding with a Trizact P3000 disc and significantly shortens the time needed for polishing.

Patented 3M Trizact technology uses precisely shaped three-dimensional abrasive structures that are gradually renewed as you work. This lets the disc maintain a consistent cut, produce an exceptionally fine scratch pattern and last a long time.

P5000 grit is designed to remove P3000 sanding marks. The result is a smooth surface ready for quick final polishing with minimal compound consumption and much less working time.

The disc is used wet with water, which reduces clogging, extends its life and gives more consistent results. The foam backing spreads pressure evenly, follows curved surfaces very well and gives better control while sanding.

Recommended Use

After removing the defect with a Trizact P3000 disc, use the P5000 disc wet with water. Work with low pressure and even movements. After sanding, finish the surface with a suitable finishing polish and a soft polishing pad.
