Description

The 3M 33544 Hookit Flexible Foam Abrasive Disc P2000 Ø150 mm is a professional flexible foam abrasive disc for very fine finish sanding of painted surfaces, removing minor paint defects and final preparation before polishing.

The soft foam backing conforms closely to flat and curved surfaces. This keeps even contact with the panel and minimises the risk of sanding through on edges. The disc can be used by hand or by machine.

The aluminium oxide abrasive cuts well and lasts a long time. P2000 grit is ideal for removing small dust nibs and fine paint defects, lightly levelling surface texture and preparing for polishing.

The disc can be used dry or wet. Laser-perforated holes extract dust and water effectively. This reduces clogging, extends abrasive life and improves the final finish.

The 3M Hookit system allows quick disc changes thanks to the hook-and-loop attachment. The 150 mm diameter fits most professional random orbital sanders.

Recommended Use

Attach the disc to a Ø150 mm Hookit backing plate. Use it dry or wet with water, depending on the job. Sand with light pressure for an even scratch pattern and maximum abrasive life.
