What is K800 grit suitable for?

Tolecut K800 is used mainly for local repairs where more material needs to be removed than with finer grits.

Important: K800 is a coarse grit. After removing the defect, the sanding marks must be refined step by step with suitable finer grits and the surface then polished. Take the condition and thickness of the paint layer into account when working.

How to use Kovax Tolecut K800

• Make sure the paint is fully cured, clean and dry
• Attach a stick-on piece to a suitable Kovax Toleblock
• Sand gently and in a controlled manner, only in the area of the specific defect
• Check the sanding progress regularly so you do not remove too much paint
• After levelling the irregularity, continue with finer grits of the Tolecut system, for example K1200, K1500, K2000 and K3000 if needed
• Then remove the sanding marks with a suitable polishing process
