FORGE Induction Kit Designed for Volkswagen T6 & T6.1 2.0 BiTDI models

The Forge Motorsport FMINDK66 is an induction kit engineered specifically for the Volkswagen Transporter T6 and T6.1 2.0 BiTDI equipped with the larger 90mm MAF sensor. Developed in response to popular demand and building on the success of the FMINDK48, the FMINDK66 serves as a direct replacement for the factory airbox lid. The precision-fabricated heat shield fits seamlessly into the engine bay, preventing the intake from drawing in hot air and allowing the engine to breathe more efficiently for improved overall performance.

Performance testing was carried out in partnership with independent specialists Avon Tuning. Dyno results on a stock ECU demonstrated measurable gains in power and torque, with mid-range performance seeing the most significant improvement — a notable advantage for drivers requiring stronger acceleration or increased towing capability. With a tuning box installed, peak gains of 12.5 BHP and 20Nm of torque were recorded, with a maximum mid-range gain of 23 BHP at 3,700 RPM and 44Nm at 3,600 RPM.

How to identify the correct airbox for BiTurbo models:

• Remove the MAF housing and measure the junction diameter where the MAF tube was seated — the BiTurbo variant uses a larger 90mm housing.
• Alternatively, remove the complete airbox and check the part number printed on the underside. The compatible part number is 7E0 129 607 T.
