When using in a foamer, adjust the dilution ratio to 20:1 to achieve a snow foam that effectively, but completely gently, pre-washes the bodywork. Even with heavy pollution, it is enough to rinse the car from loose dirt, spray the shampoo on the car, leave it on for 5 minutes and then wash it by hand without rinsing using the usual procedure. With this procedure, you will achieve a perfect pre-wash, effective removal of dirt, strengthening of the shine and keeping the protective layer intact.


Tips for washing your car:

• Careless washing is the main source of paint damage! Improper hand washing or visiting gantry / brush washers will inevitably result in scratches and damage to your paintwork!
• Always wash your car in such a way as to eliminate the risk of damaging your paint.
• Always use only your own, proven shampoo, not freely available shampoos whose origin is unknown to you and whose washing properties have not been carefully verified.
• Do not use dishwashing detergents, household detergents, non-contact or active cleaners and foams, degreasers, solvents and other detergents! These cleaners are usually not gentle on the protective wax layer or polishing oils on the surface of your paint, they dry it out and leave it exposed and without any protection! Unprotected paint will begin to degrade very soon on the surface, its oxidation and loss of shine will begin to show, it is very dangerously exposed to the adverse effects of the surrounding environment and is significantly more susceptible to mechanical and chemical damage!
• The water you wash your car with should have a temperature as close as possible to the body temperature.
• Use the 2- bucket method or a Meguiar's bucket with a Grit Guard insert.
• Do not use foam sponges or gloves with large braided fibers. These sponges and gloves cannot effectively absorb dirt, and you can scratch the paint by using them. Use only gentle washing gloves with very fine hairs made of microfiber or natural lamb's wool , which catch small dirt and absorb it.
• Always dry your car after washing! This will prevent the formation of water spots caused by minerals contained in the water. In addition, active drying prevents dust from settling again during spontaneous drying.
• For drying, use only the high-quality, extremely absorbent microfiber drying towel X1905 Meguiar's Supreme Drying Towel XL or X2000 Meguiar's Water Magnet, or top-quality natural chamois X2100 Meguiar's Natural Chamois. Locally, you can dry hard-to-reach places with compressed air (watch out for re-contamination with oil that can spray out of the nozzle!). We do not recommend drying with a silicone squeegee, which can catch a grain of dust and cause the paint to be scratched!
• Meguiar's shampoo does not have to foam at all when washing, and yet it has all its great properties and is 100% gentle! Always mix the shampoo into the water, moreover, there is no need to foam up the shampoo!

Recommended steps for washing your car:

• Rinse your car from loose dirt with pressurized water or soap from the bottom up! The lower parts of the car are the most polluted, therefore, when rinsing from the bottom up, the water acts the longest precisely on the dirtiest places and thus soaks the dirt for the longest time. In addition, all the dirt from higher parts flows downwards and thus helps to remove soaked dirt from thresholds, wheels or chassis parts.
• If you want to pre-wash the car, dilute the shampoo in the foaming agent in a ratio of 20:1.
• The shampoo creates a rich, snowy, stable foam, which you spray on the entire surface of the car and leave for 5 minutes or as needed..
• The action of the foam soaks resistant dirt, e.g. dried insects or road dirt, and you will achieve a perfect pre-wash, strengthen the shine and keep the protective layer intact.
• Do not rinse the foam from the car!
• Dilute the shampoo in the bucket in a ratio of 400:1.
• Subsequently, wash the entire body with shampoo by hand from top to bottom, i.e. from the cleanest parts to the dirtiest..
• When soaking the glove in the bucket, always wash it carefully so that it releases all the dirt and you don't put it back on your paint.
• Rinse the shampoo from the body using pressurized water or a squeegee from top to bottom . The running water will help you to remove the shampoo even from hard-to-reach places.
• Finally, rinse the car once more, slowly from top to bottom , but this time only with a very thin stream of water flowing freely from the hose without a pressure attachment. With this step, up to 80% of the remaining water can be removed from the varnish, making subsequent drying much easier!
• Dry the car using a high-quality, extremely absorbent microfiber drying towel X1905 Meguiar's Supreme Drying Towel XL or X2000 Meguiar's Water Magnet, or top natural chamois X2100 Meguiar's Natural Chamois.
• If necessary, strengthen the protective wax layer with one of Meguiar's fast waxes.
