Description

This simple, economical Adaptor Kit allows easy fitting of a temperature probe directly into the engine's top radiator hose. The kit comes complete for a watertight and effective probe installation.

Two 1/4" NPT holes allow the fitment of a sensor and/or an air bleed. If only one hole is needed, a bung is included.

It suits temperature sensors with either a 5mm (3/16") or a 6mm (1/4") outside diameter and temperature gauge senders with a 1/4" NPT thread.

This is an accessory for use with the #0401, #0404, #0444 and #0455 Thermatic Switches.

Installation

Fit the probe into the compression fitting, remove about 17mm (2/3") of the radiator hose, fit the adaptor between the two hose ends and secure the hose clamps.

To suit the Davies Craig Thermal Switch (Part #0400, #0401, #0404), use the 6mm olive supplied.
