TUNAP 933 intake valve cleaning granules

Description

TUNAP 933 is a granulate made specifically to remove carbon deposits from engine intake valves. The granules are blasted onto the valves. They shatter on impact, and the released energy breaks off the baked-on carbon. The granulate does not damage the valves or the intake manifold. Only the intake manifold has to be removed, and the job does not take long. The loosened carbon and granulate dust are vacuumed away during the process.

The granules are applied with the TUNAP 16192 kit, which is also available in specific versions for Toyota and Mercedes.

Intake valve deposits explained

• Problem - Loss of power, higher fuel consumption and a rough idle are signs of dirty valves and deposits on them. They are caused by exhaust gas recirculation and crankcase ventilation combined with the lack of fuel washing over the valves in direct injection systems
