Manufacturer's note: PFF19-2525 Lower Engine Mount Insert is crafted from our Yellow 70ShA material and specifically engineered for petrol engines, or tuned diesel engines. Installing an insert into the upper portion of the voided cast rubber limits movement within the mount during acceleration and deceleration. By keeping the lower voided portion open, it limits the harmonic transfer of noise and vibration through the body of the vehicle, offering a perfect compromise between driving comfort and performance. The result is a restriction in engine movement, preventing wheel hop and offering more precise gear-shifting for a more positive driving experience. This, in turn, additionally prolongs the mount's life expectancy. NB: When strengthening the connection between the engine and chassis, a small increase in NVH, usually at idle, should be expected. Naturally, the harder the material used, the greater the NVH transmitted.

Materials are colour coded to make them easily identifiable. Below explains the shore rating and their common uses.

Red 65A – Used for universal exhaust mounts and diesel engine mounts.
Yellow 70A – Mainly used for engine mounts, diff mounts and subframe mounts or areas where the bush needs a lot of movement and absorption.
Purple 80A – Most common material. This is used in most areas of the suspension and provides the right mix between performance and compliance.
Black 95A – The hardest material. This is used mostly for Black Series range or in Road Series where the vehicles standard suspension demands require us to use this hardness of material i.e. in areas of high load.
