COLOURLOCK Leather Shield is a premium protection product developed with the latest technology to protect pigmented smooth leather. Unlike ordinary conditioners that nourish the leather, this product forms an invisible, ultra-thin barrier on the surface that protects the leather against mechanical wear and staining.

Why Is Leather Protection Important?

New and nearly new leather (up to 3 years old) does not yet need deep oil nourishment, but it does need strong protection against friction and dye transfer from clothing (e.g. jeans). Leather Shield is designed for exactly this purpose – it seals the surface and minimises wear when getting in and out of the vehicle.

Directions for Use

Preparation: The surface must be clean and dry before application. We recommend cleaning the leather first with COLOURLOCK Mild Cleaner.

Application: Apply a small amount of product to a soft microfibre cloth or applicator sponge.

Spreading: Apply evenly to the leather from seam to seam. Work gently, there is no need to press hard.

Drying: Let it dry naturally (about 30–60 minutes). Do not buff the leather after application.

Recommended Intervals

For maximum protection of the driver's seat, we recommend reapplying every 3 months. The rest of the interior only needs treatment every 6 to 12 months.

Warning: The product is not suitable for buffed leather (suede, nubuck) or aniline leather (open pore). Always test on an inconspicuous area before use.
