- The gauge offers three probe working modes: automatic (AUTO), magnetic induction (F) for measuring on ferromagnetic surfaces, and eddy currents (NFE) for non-magnetic surfaces. This enables accurate measurements on various material types, making it a versatile tool.
Backlit LCD Display: The large, backlit screen makes it easy to read measurement results, both in dark conditions and outdoors in bright light.
Three Measurement Units: The user can select one of three measurement units: micrometers (µm), millimeters (mm), or mils (mil), increasing the device’s versatility.
Measurement Range: The device allows for paint thickness measurement from 0 to 2000 micrometers (µm), making it suitable for checking both thin layers and thick coatings.
Measurement Statistics: The gauge displays measurement statistics, such as minimum, average, maximum coating thickness, the difference between them, and the number of measurements taken. This function enables quick comparison of results, providing a complete picture of coating thickness.
Automatic Shut-off: The device automatically turns off 3 minutes after the measurement is completed, saving energy and extending battery life.
Power Supply: The gauge is powered by two standard AAA batteries, providing long-lasting use.
