The FLEX MWL 150 4 is a compact multifunctional LED light designed for detailing, polishing and inspecting surfaces. Thanks to its high CRI 97 colour rendering index and adjustable colour temperature, it helps you spot holograms, fine scratches, unpolished areas and other paint defects more accurately.

Depending on the job, you can use the one light as a headlamp, a handheld inspection light, a cap-mounted light or as a Swirl Finder mounted directly on the FLEX PXE 80 polisher.

CRI 97 for a more accurate view of the paint

In detailing, high light output alone is not enough. What also matters is how faithfully the light reproduces the colours and contrasts of the surface.

The FLEX MWL 150 4 reaches a colour rendering index of CRI 97. A high CRI helps when checking colour shade and finding fine defects that may be less visible under ordinary workshop lighting.

Adjustable colour temperature 2500–6500 K

The colour temperature is continuously adjustable from 2500 to 6500 K. You can adapt the light to the specific paint colour, the ambient lighting and the type of work.

Warmer and cooler light can highlight different types of defects on different shades. For the final inspection you can therefore change the colour temperature and assess the surface under several lighting conditions.

Swirl Finder for checking after polishing

The MWL 150 4 can be used as a compact Swirl Finder to check your results continuously during paint correction.

Direct mounting on the FLEX PXE 80

The light then illuminates the work area right where you polish and moves with the tool. This is especially useful on smaller areas, bumpers, pillars, edges and other details where an external work light may be at an awkward angle.

Headlamp – both hands stay free

With the included headband you can use the MWL 150 4 as a lightweight detailing headlamp. The light weighs only about 54 g, so it stays comfortable during longer jobs.

The headlamp is handy for polishing, interior inspection, work in the engine bay or any detail where you need both hands free.

Cap clip and use as a handheld light

A cap clip is also included. You can attach the compact light to a cap or simply use it as a handheld inspection light.

The MWL 150 4 offers two brightness levels, so you can adjust the output to the distance from the surface and the workshop conditions.

Maximum brightness is not always an advantage when inspecting paint closely. At short distances a lower setting can help you see fine differences on the surface without unnecessary glare.

USB-C charging

The integrated 4 V battery charges via a modern USB-C port. A USB-C cable is included.
