Koch-Chemie Ceramic Neo C0.03 is a ceramic coating designed for painted exterior surfaces of a vehicle. It creates a smooth, highly hydrophobic surface on the paint, deepens its colour and gives it a high gloss.

Ceramic Neo combines the key properties of a quality ceramic coating – slickness, colour depth, gloss and hydrophobicity – with easy application. One correctly applied layer lasts approx. 36 months, depending on exposure and how the vehicle is used.

A second layer for even longer durability

Ceramic Neo can also be applied in two layers. The second layer can be applied after approx. 25 minutes. It can extend the life of the coating by approx. one more year.

A third layer is not recommended.

Directions for use – Paint preparation

• Wash the vehicle thoroughly and remove all contamination from the painted surfaces
• Polish the paint as its current condition requires so that the surface is properly prepared for the coating
• After polishing, thoroughly remove all polish residue
• Then degrease the paint thoroughly with a suitable product for final surface preparation before applying the coating
• Before applying Ceramic Neo, the surface must be completely clean, dry and free of residue from previous products

Applying Ceramic Neo

• Apply the product at a temperature of 15–25 °C and a relative humidity of approx. 40–55 %
• Work panel by panel
• Apply Ceramic Neo with a suitable applicator in a cross-hatch pattern to form an even, continuous film on the surface
• Let the applied layer flash off for approx. 6–8 minutes
• Then buff the surface thoroughly in circular motions with a clean Coating Towel
• Continue the same way on the remaining panels

Curing

• After application, allow the protective layer to cure for approx. 18–24 hours. After this time it is weatherproof
• Protect the treated surface from unnecessary stress during curing
• Ceramic Neo reaches full chemical resistance after approx. 9 days

Applying a second layer

• To extend the life of the coating, you can apply a second layer after approx. 25 minutes
• Apply the second layer the same way as the first
• The second layer can extend the life of the coating by approx. one more year
• A third layer is not recommended

Approximate consumption is about 15–30 ml per vehicle, depending on the size of the treated area and the application method.

Caring for Ceramic Neo

Proper aftercare helps maintain the hydrophobicity, gloss and other properties of the ceramic coating over the long term.

• for more thorough periodic cleaning Reactivation Shampoo (Rs), no more than 1–2 times a year
• as a topper you can use PerfectFinish Sealant (Pfs), Spray Sealant S0.02 or Hand Wax W0.01.

Warning

• Intended for painted exterior surfaces of a vehicle
• Do not spray Ceramic Neo. The product is designed for conventional hand application with a suitable applicator
• Application to matt paint and matt surfaces is not recommended, as any application mistakes cannot be easily corrected
• For best results, observe the recommended temperature, humidity, flash-off time and curing time
