Loctite 5910 is a single component silicone adhesive / sealant that cure at room temperature (RTV), does not settle, corrode, has a faint odor and low volatility.

application:
Especially designed to seal flange joints. It exhibits high oil resistance and resists a large displacement of joints. Widely used in automotive industry for sealing flanges made of sheet metal or other low stiff materials, for example on gearboxes, oil tanks, water pumps.

instructions for the application:
Apply 5910 to a clean surface with a strip. Within 15 minutes, you must tie the parts together and then push them so that the adhesive will expand well and completely fill the joint. Do not design the structure with heavy loads before full curing (about 7 days).

storage:
Whilst there are no other data on the label, storage in closed containers in a cool and dry room at temperatures between 8 ° C and 28 ° C is the ideal method of storage.
The remaining material should not be placed back into the original container because the product could be contaminated.
