Manufacturer's note: PFF85-620R is made using our Red 65A durometer material and is suitable for standard diesel vehicles only. For tuned diesel vehicles or petrol models use PFF85-620. For track/heavily tuned models use PFF85-620P. Fitting this engine mount bush to 1.4 TDI 3 cylinders is not advisable. A small increase in NVH, usually at idle, should be expected when stiffening the connecting mount between the engine/transmission and chassis. The harder the material used, the greater the NVH transmitted.

Materials are colour coded to make them easily identifiable. Below explains the shore rating and their common uses.

Red 65A – Used for universal exhaust mounts and diesel engine mounts.
Yellow 70A – Mainly used for engine mounts, diff mounts and subframe mounts or areas where the bush needs a lot of movement and absorption.
Purple 80A – Most common material. This is used in most areas of the suspension and provides the right mix between performance and compliance.
Black 95A – The hardest material. This is used mostly for Black Series range or in Road Series where the vehicles standard suspension demands require us to use this hardness of material i.e. in areas of high load.
