After already developing many performance upgrades for the Hyundai I30N & Veloster N, the Forge Motorsport engineers have found another area for improvement on the Hyundai’s hot hatch. This time it is the boost pipe that runs from the outlet of the intercooler to the throttle body (cold side).

Product specifications:

  • Supplied with a durable black powder-coated finish
  • Minimal airflow disruption
  • Increased diameter giving increased flow compared to OEM
  • Mandrel bent single-piece aluminum pipework
  • CNC machined billet couplers
  • No engine check lights (EML)

NOTE:

  • This will NOT work with the OEM intercooler. This product will only work with aftermarket intercoolers with an outlet size of 63-67mm (Cold Side)
  • It works flawlessly with the FMINT31 intercooler

When looking at the OE hard pipe it was clear to see there was room for improvement. 20% increased bore diameter, which in testing resulted in a faster spool up and a crisper power delivery. 66mm internal diameter mandrel bent alloy hard pipe to compliment the transition of smooth air from the cold side of the intercooler, which also matched the size of the OEM throttle body perfectly. Accompanied with fluro-lined high-quality silicone joiners, this upgrade is the perfect addition to any highly tuned engine.

Alloy billet CNC machined bosses are welded in-house to the mandrel bent pipe work by our highly skilled fabricators so that all the original attachments fit perfectly. When compared to the OE hose, the improvements are clear to see; the inlet bore diameter has now been increased from 55mm to 66mm internal diameter.

An increase in the diameter of the Forge pipework allows for a greater airflow, which in turn, maximizes the volume of air being forced into the engine. This has the benefit of improving both performance and efficiency, especially on vehicles running aftermarket software. This is a must-have product for anyone trying to achieve maximum performance from their I30N/Veloster N/Kona N.
