Our 3-in-1 wax is designed for hand application. Therefore, a Foam applicator in a limited edition black color is included in the package. However, nothing prevents you from applying 3-in-1 Wax using the Meguiar's DA Power System polishing attachment or orbital polishers (e.g., Meguiar's MT310)!

Recommended procedure for polishing and protecting paint using Meguiar's 3-in-1 Wax - by hand:

• Work on a body that is shaded and cool to the touch.
• Wash the car with a gentle shampoo and dry it.
• If necessary, decontaminate the paint surface with clay. A paint surface that is smooth as glass will polish easier and the protective wax will last longer on it.
• Shake the product well!
• Apply a small amount of product the size of a quarter to the Foam applicator.
• Work on an area of a maximum of 50 x 50 cm! The larger the paint damage you wish to remove, the smaller the area!
• Reducing the polished area to 25 x 25 cm significantly increases the polishing efficiency!
• Apply moderate to firm pressure on the applicator. The greater the pressure you apply, the greater the correction you will achieve.
• Use a crosshatch pattern to make 3-5 passes, depending on the paint condition.
• When polishing to a high gloss, when no paint defects need to be removed, just work with very light pressure.
• Add product to the applicator only as needed and in very small amounts - a maximum of a drop the size of a quarter!
• A larger amount of product does not improve correcting, polishing, or protective abilities!
• Allow the product to dry on the surface for at least a few minutes (depending on the surrounding conditions in which you are working – temperature, humidity).
• After the wax has dried, gently wipe it off with a microfiber cloth such as X1906 Meguiar's Supreme Finishing Towel, X2010 Meguiar's Supreme Shine Microfiber Towel, or E101 Meguiar's Ultimate Microfiber Towel.
• If you need to address more serious paint damage, you can repeat the procedure.

Recommended procedure for polishing and protecting paint using Meguiar's 3-in-1 Wax - using Meguiar's DA Power System or MT310 Meguiar's DA polisher:

• Shake well.
• Work on a body that is shaded and cool to the touch.
• Use a yellow Foam pad (G3508 for DA Power System or DFP5 or DFP6 for the DA polisher) for simple correction.
• Use a red Foam pad (G3507 for DA Power System or DFC5 or DFC6 for the DA polisher) for strong correction.
• On the pad, apply 3-4 drops the size of a cherry pit and fully work them into the pad to moisten the surface.
• Then add a drop the size of a cherry pit and apply wax to the surface.
• Work at a low speed (max. 2000 RPM on the drill, on the DA polisher set the speed to 3800 - 4800 OPM, depending on the paint condition - higher speed for more damaged paint).
• Work on an area of a maximum of 50 x 50 cm! The larger the paint damage you wish to remove, the smaller the area!

• Apply moderate to firm pressure on the pad. The greater the pressure you apply, the greater the paint correction you will achieve.

Tips for polishing and protecting paint using Meguiar's 3-in-1 Wax:

• The body should be cool to the touch and in the shade.
• The paint surface should be clean and dry. If necessary, decontaminate the paint surface using Meguiar's clay - this will give you a paint surface as smooth as glass, allowing the protective coat to stick longer.
• Use only very small amounts - the more product you use, the harder the work will be. You won't increase the polishing efficiency or the durability of the protection and will unnecessarily waste money.
• Avoid unpainted plastics and rubber parts, where the product can leave white stains.
• While drying, the product may slightly run. However, if you're unsure whether the wax is dry enough to wipe off, use the "finger test." Try to wipe the wax with the pad of your finger - if the wax smears on the surface, it's better to wait a little longer, but if you can wipe off the wax with your finger, you can polish it clean.
• Regular use of Meguiar's shampoos can significantly extend the durability of the wax layer and the water-repelling effect (the so-called hydrophobic effect). For best maintenance between washes, use Meguiar's Detailer.
• Do not use aggressive cleaners or degreasers (typical dishwashing detergents, etc.). These products are not gentle on the wax layer and significantly weaken it, in some cases they may completely remove the wax from the surface, as well as the polishing oils that nourish the paint, resulting in dry, exposed paint that will quickly degrade and easily suffer mechanical and chemical damage until you protect the paint again with a new layer of wax or other suitable protection.
