Manufacturer's note: PFF76-920 Torque Mount Bush Insert is an affordable and easy-to-fit bush insert made from our Yellow 70A Durometer vibration-absorbing material, which works to stiffen the OEM torque mounting. This reduces the amount of engine/trans roll and movement during hard acceleration and gear changing for a more responsive feel, as well as reducing wheel-hop and improving traction. PFF76-920 can be fitted alone but will perform most effectively when fitted with our other powertrain inserts (PFF76-923 & PFF76-925) as a full set. A small increase in NVH, usually at idle, should be expected when stiffening the connecting mount between the engine/transmission and chassis. The harder the material used, the greater the NVH transmitted. Our POWERFLEX PFF76-920 Lower Torque Mount increases the stiffness of the OEM powertrain mounts using our yellow 70A material.

Materials are colour coded to make them easily identifiable. Below explains the shore rating and their common uses.

Red 65A – Used for universal exhaust mounts and diesel engine mounts.
Yellow 70A – Mainly used for engine mounts, diff mounts and subframe mounts or areas where the bush needs a lot of movement and absorption.
Purple 80A – Most common material. This is used in most areas of the suspension and provides the right mix between performance and compliance.
Black 95A – The hardest material. This is used mostly for Black Series range or in Road Series where the vehicles standard suspension demands require us to use this hardness of material i.e. in areas of high load.
