Meguiar`s Matte Paint Kit TOP - premium, complete kit for the care of matte paints, films, and PPF

Matte paints create a very luxurious and attractive impression. However, their maintenance is in some aspects more challenging than that of glossy paints.

What to avoid when maintaining matte paint?

• using any products that add shine
• mechanical decontamination using clay (natural and synthetic)
• using any types of polishing agents (abrasive and non-abrasive)
• using liquid and solid waxes
• even the slightest pressure on cloths, towels, mitts, or applicators
• any formation of defects

No defects (scratches, stains, insect and bird droppings, etc.) can be removed from matte paints. Therefore, special care is extremely important to keep the matte paint looking new and in perfect condition. Using unsuitable products can irreparably damage the matte surface.

At the same time, it is very important to prevent any damage! Dirt such as bird droppings or insects must be removed from the surface of matte paint as soon as possible to minimize the risk of etching spots forming on the paint surface that can no longer be safely removed.

Remember that when treating matte paint, you must not apply any pressure! Even the slightest pressure on a rag, applicator, towel, or mitt can scratch the paint, and defect removal is impossible on matte paint, making it permanent!
