TURBOSMART eSG40 StraightGate electronic external wastegate

TURBOSMART eSG40 StraightGate electronic external wastegate with a zero-offset butterfly valve, the smallest butterfly-style external wastegate, designed for tight engine bays. With no reference hoses, springs or diaphragms, the valve is driven by a servo motor through a zero-backdrive gearbox. Both valve halves are equally exposed to exhaust drive pressure, so the valve is self-balanced and actuates even against high drive pressures, and the straight-through path without a 90° turn flows more than a poppet-style valve.
