TURBOSMART PSG40 external wastegate, 6 psi

The TURBOSMART PSG40 (Pneumatic StraightGate40) is the smallest TURBOSMART butterfly-style external wastegate, made for tight engine bays. The zero-offset butterfly valve gives very high flow and almost linear boost control throughout the entire operating range. It is controlled by a traditional boost-based GenV pneumatic actuator pre-fitted with 6 psi (0.41 bar) springs.

• Zero-offset butterfly valve pivoting centrally
• Self-balancing: exhaust drive pressure acts equally on both halves of the valve
• Tuning window of over 5 times base spring pressure
• Higher flow from a straight-through valve, a poppet valve turns the exhaust gas through 90°
• GenV actuator with single and twin port control
• Pre-fitted springs: 6 psi (0.41 bar)
