Removes stains permanently and does not leave sticky residues after cleaning, on which new dirt could stick. In addition, it contains softening substances that help the overall softness of the fibers after their treatment, and thus make cleaning significantly more efficient.

Just spray the product on the contaminated area, leave it on for at least 30 seconds, and then wipe it off with a microfiber cloth. It is not necessary to vacuum it from the upholstery.

You can achieve a higher cleaning effect if you gently brush the surface with a brush during the product's action, e.g. from horsehair.

Procedure for cleaning textile upholstery:

• Before cleaning, vacuum the surface of the upholstery from loose dirt.
• Spray evenly on the contaminated surface and leave for at least 30 seconds..
• Wipe the surface thoroughly with a clean and dry microfibre cloth to transfer the dirt from the upholstery to the cloth.
• Before each wiping, fold the cloth over a clean part to avoid re-contamination of the surface.
• Finally, wipe the entire surface of the upholstery with a second, dry and clean microfiber cloth.
• Some stubborn dirt and stains (especially coffee stains and others) may require repeated application.

Meguiar's tips:

• The sooner you remove the stain, the easier it will be. Older and dried stains may require repeated application.
• If you need to clean a wet spot, e.g. from coffee, first dry the surface with a clean and dry microfiber cloth or paper towel to remove excess and non-drying liquid. Only then clean the pollution using the procedure described above.

Alcantara cleaning procedure:

• Alcantara is not leather, but a special type of microfiber, so it can be treated similarly to microfiber, but more gently. With Alcantara, there is much more risk of mechanical damage than with regular microfiber!
• Pollution prevention is the best way to maintain alcantara. Regular vacuuming and avoiding stains is therefore the best method to keep alcantara soft to the touch for a long time and beautiful and luxurious to look at..
  
• Slightly soiled alcantara
  • Spray a little distilled water on a clean microfiber cloth.
  • Wipe the contaminated surface, making sure that the alcantara does not get soaked with water!
  • Wipe the surface dry with a second, dry and clean microfiber cloth.
  • Do not rub Alcantara with great pressure or force - there is a risk of mechanical damage!
    
• Heavily soiled alcantara
  • Spray a very small amount of G9416 Meguiar's Carpet & Interior Cleaner on the soiled surface. Make sure that the alcantara surface is not soaked with the product!
  • Use a very fine brush (e.g. made of fine horse hair, which you can find in our offer) to loosen the dirt from the Alcantara and then carefully wipe it with a dry, clean microfibre cloth and dry the surface completely.
    
• Important tips for cleaning alcantara:
  • Before cleaning , always thoroughly vacuum the surface of loose dirt!
  • Use only a soft brush made of horse hair (you can find it in our offer) or the wet microfiber cloth method . Brushes with hard, e.g. nylon bristles, could damage or tear the alcantara.
  • Moisten the microfibre cloth often during cleaning, this will prevent re-contamination of the surface.
  • Use only distilled water! Normal water contains dissolved minerals that could create spots and stains on the alcantara surface!
  • Make sure that the alcantara surface is not soaked with water or cleaning agents. When alcantara gets wet, there is a risk of stains and maps!
  • Work with Alcantara very gently and sparingly. Alcantara is much more susceptible to mechanical damage than ordinary fabrics!
  • The cleaning procedure may need to be repeated for heavier dirt or stubborn stains. Keep in mind that 2-3 repetitions of gentle cleaning are always better than 1 aggressive cleaning !
  • Never use aggressive cleaners, or preparations containing bleaches or solvents!
