Advanced 5″ TFT touch screen dash display in a solid aluminium housing for real-time monitoring of engine parameters over CAN, RS232, analog and digital inputs, with a customizable 9-LED shift light and on-screen data logger.

The RWD POWER DASH is a universal device for monitoring engine parameters. It collects data from the CAN bus, UART (RS232), analog and digital inputs and visualises it as freely configurable components on the TFT touch screen. A row of nine super-bright LEDs across the top can be set up as a shift light or as an indicator of any other parameter.

Features:

  • Solid aluminium body
  • Bright 5″ TFT touch screen display
  • CAN bus input
  • UART (RS232) input
  • 6x analog inputs, 2x digital inputs
  • EGT input
  • Dedicated RPM and SPEED inputs
  • 2x AUX outputs, ALARM output
  • 9 bright LEDs – fully customizable shift light
  • Min and max alarm available for each parameter
  • Real-time reading of parameters from the ECU (stock and standalone): RPM, speed, water temperature, MAP, oil pressure and much more
  • Real-time log displayed on the screen – can be paused, scrolled and saved
  • Fully customizable, easy to use, intuitive user interface
  • Screen layout library, up to 5 switchable screens
  • Many predefined CAN presets (OEM and standalone ECUs) plus user-defined CAN frames
  • Analog sensor presets (all popular sensors supported) and user-defined sensor characteristics
  • Everything configured and changed directly on the display, without connecting to a computer
  • Firmware update over WiFi, for example directly from a smartphone
  • Odometer (mileage) function
  • LAP-TIME function
  • Brightness change directly on screen (slide from the bottom)
  • Mounts available for installation in place of the factory instrument cluster in many cars, plus universal mounts (sold separately)
  • External adapters available to expand the capabilities of the device
  • Dimensions: 139 x 107.3 x 25 mm

Some of the built-in CAN presets:

EMU BLACK, EMU Classic, Nissan 350z/370z, Audi A3/S3, BMW E36, E46, E8x, E9x, Mercedes-Benz M113, Mustang HS1/HS3, MINI R53/R56, Toyota Yaris GR, Lexus IS250, Mitsubishi Evo X, Mazda RX8, Porsche 996, Fiat 500/595/695, Link G4X/G5x, TCU Turbolamik, MaxxECU, EcuMaster Lambda to CAN, EGT to CAN, CAN keyboard, HONDATA, Honda Type R, RusEFI, Subaru Impreza STI.

Visualisation and operation are handled entirely through the touch display. You can create up to five screens with different visual components, using predefined presets and screen layouts. No additional software or computer connection is required – the whole menu is navigated with your finger, on the display only.

On the back of the device there are connection ports with a clearly printed pinout. Wires are held in screw terminals and the whole connector can be disconnected quickly – a standard CAN connection needs just four wires (power, ground, CAN L, CAN H).

Important: DASH 5 is a device dedicated to motorsport applications and is used at your own risk. It should only be installed by professionals with the appropriate knowledge. Incorrect installation may damage the DASH or the electronics of the car. Never operate the DASH while the vehicle is in motion, and always disconnect the battery before connecting or modifying an electrical harness.
