Ramp Saver shim (washer) is a perfect solution if you have damaged pressure plates from previous clutches in BMW E30, E36, E34 LSD.
If you decided to re-build/upgrade your LSD unit and realized your previous clutches made any kind of damage to the flat surface of your ramps (pressure plates), you will need to address this problem for proper functionality of the LSD.
The RacingDiffs ramp saver plate will help you return your differential to its original condition, and even enhance its performance. It can also be used to increase pre-load in all types of racing.
