Nu recomandăm utilizarea acestuia pentru un debit constant de ulei. Este bun pentru aer, lichide de răcire, vapori de ulei, de exemplu, utilizat cu un oil catch can, dar asta este tot. Nu au fost testate pentru alte aplicații, și în niciun caz cu combustibil sau lichid de frânare, sunt prea agresive și ar putea fi o problemă gravă de siguranță.
