The only simple intermediate step between washing and drying your vehicle is to create a hybrid ceramic protection based on SiO2 that lasts for months!

Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax is suitable for all types of surfaces! It simplifieswashing and maintenance because dirt doesn’t stick to the surface so easily! Perfect and long-lasting protection:

The sophisticated hybrid ceramic formula utilizes a dense, highly viscous technology along with the power of rinse water, which helps cover the entire exterior of your car. Application procedure if your vehicle is already protected with Hybrid Ceramic Wax or any other wax, sealant, or coating:

• Shake well.
• Work in the shade and on a body that is cool to the touch.
• Wash the vehicle . We recommend using a quality, pH-neutral shampoo, gentle washing mitts, and a two-bucket method or a bucket with a Grit Guard.
• After rinsing the shampoo off the body, spray wet with very small amounts of Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax!
• On each body panel spray max. 2x! For large surfaces (roofs of wagons etc.), max. 3-4 applications!
• Rinse the vehicle again with a strong stream of water. Do not let the wax dry on the surface.
• Dry the vehicle using a drying towel or chamois.

Application procedure if your car does not have any hydrophobic protection:

• If you want to get the maximum protection and hydrophobic effect right from the first moment, you can try the following alternative method:
  • Shake well.
  • Work in the shade and on a body that is cool to the touch.
  • Wash the vehicle . We recommend using a quality, pH-neutral shampoo, gentle washing mitts, and a two-bucket method or a bucket with a Grit Guard.
  • After rinsing the shampoo off the body, spray a small amount (!) of Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax on the wetted vehicle.
  • On each body panel spray max. 2x! For large surfaces (roofs of wagons etc.), max. 3-4 applications!
  • For the very first application of the ceramic wax, do not rinse it off, but instead dry it immediately using a drying towel or chamois.
  • For future washing, use the normal application procedure (see above), which will help you to supplement and strengthen the ceramic layer.

Tips for using Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax:

• Suitable for: lights, rubber trims, metal parts, glass, and all other exterior surfaces
• The hydrophobic effect may not be as intense on glass as on paint. If you want to enjoy a "liquid wiper" effect, we recommend applying G8504 Meguiar's Perfect Clarity Glass Sealant.
• Ceramic wax can be combined with your favorite wax, coating, or ceramic paint protection!
• There is no minimum interval between ceramic wax applications - use it as often as you want! The more frequently you do it, the more durable the protection will be. Once every two months or with every wash? It's completely up to you!
• Although a certain amount of water is needed for the application of Hybrid Ceramic Wax, if the car body is covered with too much water (e.g., large pools of water) after rinsing off the shampoo, the hybrid ceramic wax will not come into contact with the surface to stick, and you will wash the majority of the wax away with the water. In such cases, we recommend removing excess water from the paint surface (e.g., using compressed air) to spray most of the product directly on the paint, not into a continuous layer of water. If the surface has been waxed and still repels water, applying the hybrid ceramic wax will be significantly easier and more effective. Therefore, we recommend applying the hybrid ceramic wax to a waxed or well-rinsed car.
• The best results will be achieved if you rinse the ceramic wax off the car body with a strong stream of water. Using a pressure washer is ideal for applying ceramic wax!
• If the wax dries on the surface and leaves streaks, simply take a clean microfiber towel, lightly dampen it with detailer, and wipe. Then use a second, clean towel to wipe dry.
• Using too much product can worsen the final effect. Only apply small amounts to the body - 1 bottle with proper use lasts for at least 8-10 average-sized passenger cars (data based on customer experiences)! On each body panel spray max. 2x! For large surfaces (roofs of wagons, etc.), max. 3-4 applications!
• If you are not satisfied with the performance of the Hybrid Ceramic Wax, it means you applied too much. For the next application, reduce the amount used!

Tips for paint protection:

• The body should be cool to the touch and in the shade.
• The paint surface should be clean and dry. If necessary, decontaminate the paint surface using Meguiar's clay - this will give you a paint surface as smooth as glass, on which the protective coating will last longer.
• If necessary, remove paint defects (scratches, stains, oxidation, etc.) to achieve maximum gloss using one of our effective and gentle polishing agents from Meguiar's.
• Use only a very small amount. Larger amounts will not increase protection!
• The durability of the protective layer and the effect of water repelling or beading (i.e., hydrophobic effect) can be significantly extended by regularly using Meguiar's shampoo. For regular washes, the best maintenance can be ensured by using Meguiar's detailers.
• Do not use aggressive and detergent products, degreasers (typically dishwashing agents, etc.), or active cleaners and foams for washing the vehicle - these products are not gentle on the protective layer and significantly weaken it. The result will be dried, exposed paint that will start to quickly degrade and may be damaged both mechanically and chemically until the paint is protected again with a new layer of wax or other suitable protection.
