The 75 mm Flex Finish-Pad is a high-quality, fine-textured foam pad designed specifically for the final polishing stage. It is highly durable and long-lasting, delivers a maximum mirror gloss and is ideal for finishing and hologram removal.

Description

If you want to turn a good result into a flawless one, the 75 mm Flex Finish-Pad is an essential part of your kit. This soft foam pad is a top-end product for automotive paint finishing, designed specifically for the most demanding detailers and painters.

Technology

The Flex Finish-Pad is made from premium polyurethane foam with a very dense yet fine cell structure. This foam density is calibrated so that the pad absorbs as little polishing compound as possible, which keeps the compound working directly on the paint surface.

Thanks to its low profile and compact size (75 mm), it gives the operator excellent feedback, stability and control over the polisher, which is critical during final polishing.

When and Why to Use the 75 mm Finish-Pad?

This size is indispensable where standard 125 mm or 150 mm pads reach their limits. It is ideal for:

Complex shapes: Modern cars have many body lines, sharp edges and narrow contours.

Door pillars: Piano Black trim on B-pillars is extremely prone to holograms, and this pad removes them safely.

Bumpers and mirrors: Tight areas where maximum precision is needed.

Main Benefits – 1. Achieving a Wet Look

Because it is so fine, this pad has almost no cut. Instead of cutting the paint, it smooths the surface on an ultra-fine level, which maximises light reflection and creates the deep mirror gloss typical of show cars.

2. Complete Hologram Removal

Holograms and buffer trails are every detailer's nightmare, especially on dark paintwork. Combined with a fine anti-hologram finishing compound, the Flex Finish-Pad does not just mask these optical defects but removes them permanently.

3. Heat Management

The foam is designed to dissipate heat efficiently while you work. During final polishing, a rise in temperature is undesirable, as it can cause the compound to dry out early or damage sensitive paints. This pad keeps the working area within a safe temperature range.

4. System Compatibility

Although the pad is optimised for FLEX machines (such as the PXE 80 or other small polishers with a 75 mm backing plate), it is fully compatible with all rotary and random orbital (DA) polishers on the market that use hook-and-loop.

5. Long Life and Durability

Unlike cheap substitutes, the Flex Finish-Pad does not crumble or lose its shape, even after many washes. The quality hook-and-loop (Velcro) backing holds firmly even at high speeds on long-throw random orbital polishers.

Recommended Use

Preparation: Before use, make sure the paint surface is fully decontaminated and free of coarse dirt.

Applying the compound: Put 3-4 pea-sized drops of fine finishing compound on the pad.

Working: Work an area of about 40x40 cm with minimal pressure. Let the machine and the fine foam structure do the work.

Cleaning: After each panel, we recommend blowing the pad out with compressed air or cleaning it with a pad brush to remove dried compound residue.

Who is it for? This product is a must for professional detailing studios, paint shops and enthusiasts who accept no compromises and demand a 100% flawless finish.
