DINITROL 410 UV NF is a one-component polyurethane adhesive and sealant with high UV stability that cures to a flexible joint. The grey version is suitable for bonding and sealing in transport engineering, caravans, boats and other industrial applications. UV stable – also suitable for visible exterior joints, permanently elastic – suitable for expansion and overlap joints, paintable – with most common paint systems once cured.
DINITROL 410 UV NF is a one-component polyurethane adhesive and sealant that cures by reacting with atmospheric moisture. Once cured, it forms a flexible, strong joint with high UV stability and weather resistance.
It is used in the manufacture and repair of buses, trucks and caravans, in boatbuilding and in other industrial applications. It is suitable for bonding and sealing, including visible joints inside and outside.
UV and weather resistance Also suitable for visible joints exposed to sunlight and outdoor conditions.
Permanently flexible joint The cured material remains elastic and can absorb movement between the bonded parts.
Wide-ranging adhesion Adheres well to painted and primed metals, GFRP, rigid PVC, wood and glass.
Paintable Once cured, it can be overcoated with most common paint systems.
The material is suitable for combined bonding and sealing in the transport and industrial sectors. It is used, for example, for overlap and expansion joints and for visible seals inside and outside commercial vehicles.
DINITROL 410 UV NF adheres well to primed and painted metals, thermosets and glass-fibre reinforced plastics (GFRP), rigid PVC, wood and glass.
On many substrates, no separate adhesion promoter is needed. On unknown, mixed or difficult surfaces, however, check adhesion beforehand.
The surface must be clean, dry and free of dust, oil and grease. On contaminated surfaces, use a suitable cleaning or preparation product for the specific material.
You will find products for cleaning and preparing surfaces in the surface preparation before bonding category.
At 23 °C and 50 % relative humidity, a skin forms in approximately 30 minutes. The curing rate is approximately 3 mm per 24 hours.
Higher temperature and humidity speed up curing, while lower temperature and humidity slow it down.
Once cured, DINITROL 410 UV NF can be painted with most common paint systems. Check compatibility with the specific paint system beforehand.
Two-component acrylic paints can also be applied wet-on-wet. Paints containing alcohol or alkyd resins may impair curing of the material.
Once cured, the material is resistant to water, salt water, dilute acids and alkalis, and water-based cleaning agents. It also withstands petrol, greases and mineral oils for short periods.

Yes. It has very good UV stability and weather resistance and is also suitable for visible exterior seals.
It adheres well to primed and painted metals, GFRP, rigid PVC, wood and glass. On difficult or unknown substrates, carry out an adhesion test.
Yes. Once cured, the material can be overcoated with most common paints. A compatibility test with the specific paint system is recommended.
