The EGR valve reduces the amount of harmful substances in the exhaust gases by letting a certain amount of exhaust gas into the intake. However, diesel soot is very greasy and often clogs the EGR, which then reduces the flow through the entire intake tract of the engine. This leads to reduced power and increased smoke.
This kit contains everything you need to completely remove the original EGR valve.
