Description

ST XTA coilover kit with adjustable damping and adjustable top mounts for Volkswagen Scirocco (13). For those who demand the very best performance: the driving behaviour of the car can be tuned using KW damper technology together with adjustable aluminium uniball top mounts for fine-tuning of camber and caster.

Performance driving in mind

ST XTA coilovers feature KW damping technology, which allows the suspension to be made either stiffer or softer depending on the driving conditions. The damping adjustment is made at the upper end of the chrome-plated piston rod, so the setup can be changed almost instantly. If the rebound force is increased, the car drives with even more stability and further reduced body roll; if it is decreased, the car feels more comfortable. In addition, the adjustable aluminium top mounts allow camber and caster to be set according to your driving needs or vehicle setup.

Easy lowering adjustment

Like all ST coilovers, the lowering is adjusted via a continuous thread on the galvanized strut. The lowering can therefore be changed even after installation by turning the spring plate up or down. Note: the lowering range differs greatly depending on the vehicle type and year of construction.

The high-quality ST XTA coilover is based on the twin-tube damping principle with low friction and pressure-resistant damper housings. Manufactured directly at KW, a mono block guide and seal package reduce the friction of the damper and protect it against corrosion and dirt. Each galvanized strut is sealed multiple times to ensure maximum longevity in all weather conditions.

Only for vehicles with a front strut clamp diameter of 55 mm.

To guarantee the minimum clearance of the front indicator (350 mm) and daytime running light (250 mm) required by law at maximum lowering, they must be modified.

On vehicles equipped with DCC electronic damping, the electronic damping control must be deactivated. Deactivation kit KW part no. 68510141.
