Jaguar XE racing special

Jaguar Racing Team Ostrava presented a new racing special. Our influencer DJ Lucky Boy, was also present at the unveiling ceremony, who received an official invitation directly from the company's management and introduced us to this circuit Jaguar XE.

The Jaguar authorized dealer based in Ostrava proudly presented their latest addition during the pre-season press event on Thursday, February 29 2024, at OC Forum Nová Karolina. Among those present, the well-known television commentator of motorsports, Martin Straka, added his observations to the event. Special guest Adam Lacko, a recognized racing figure and mentor of the Jaguar Racing Team, brought his expertise as champion and vice-champion of Europe in drag racing to the occasion. The unveiling marked the debut of Jaguar's third race car in the dealer's stable, further cementing their commitment to automotive excellence.

Since its creation in 2017, the racing team has been able to present the currently most refined Jaguar as a demonstration of the hard work of the B of B cars employees. This is the only Jaguar in Europe that continues the famous racing heritage of the brand. The car was developed for endurance races in the Czech Republic and abroad.

Under the hood is a three-litre V6 gasoline engine with the designation AJ126, which produces more than 340 horsepower as standard. Turbocharging with a compressor ensures the current output is estimated at 500 horsepower. These values are more than sufficient for a weight of only 1100 kg.

The engine breathes freely through a custom-made RACES aluminium piping 89mm in diameter, with a Pipercross (C0630) foam air filter. Due to the high temperatures in the engine compartment, this intake was wrapped in a gold thermal-insulating film, which is intended to shield the radiant heat and thus maintain the lowest possible temperatures of the intake air. A Mishimoto G-Line intercooler with dimensions of 622mm x 300mm x 76mm takes care of cooling the compressed air for the powerful compressor.

The water flows through RACES silicone hoses RACES with an outlet to a Mishimoto aluminium radiator originally for the Ford Mustang, which was specially adapted to fit in a Jaguar complete with a SPAL fan.

The interior is equipped with an FIA homologated frame. Safety is ensured by a fire extinguishing system and a Sparco Circuit II sport seat with a 6-point seat belt of the same brand. Communication takes place through the Stilo system. An FIA homologated 98L Pyrotect tank with a Nuke Performance CFC cap was placed in the trunk. The contents of this CFC are Deatschwerks DW200 and DW400 pumps pushing fuel under high pressure through Teflon hoses and aluminium fittings. The fuel is cooled through a 19-row cooler located directly under the hood of the car with an opening in the hood.

The electronic control of the vehicle is provided by MoTeC products with a CAN-BUS display on the AiM Strada MXS1.2 display, which is powered by the Odyssey EXTREME RACING PC950 gel battery. The maximally lightweight interior is painted in the same colour as the exterior.

The exterior is equipped with a wide custom-made body kit with carbon accessories, a massive diffuser, from which the RACES differential oil cooler peeks out, and a rear spoiler that ensures downforce on the rear axle and therefore better grip on the circuit.

Contact with the road is ensured by Yokohama Advan Neova AD08 RS tyres on forged BRAID discs. These legendary discs are complemented by 6-piston Paragon brakes. The brake line consists of RACES stainless steel products such as fittings or braided Teflon hoses connected to the racing pedal box.
