ITG-ITGDRC

Oil used to re-oil Maxogen and Megaflow ITG filters Only.

Step-by-step instructions for re-oiling your filter with ITG products:

  • Clean the filter: Prior to re-oiling, ensure that the filter is thoroughly cleaned using ITG cleaning fluid. Follow the instructions provided with the cleaning fluid for proper cleaning.
  • Allow the filter to dry: After cleaning, let the filter dry completely. Ensure there is no moisture remaining on the filter.
  • Apply oil lightly: Spray the ITG oil onto the filter, using a light and even application. There is a white marker agent on the filter to help you see where you have applied the oil. Mist the filter lightly to ensure complete coverage.
  • Use a plastic bag: Place the oiled filter in a plastic bag or a similar protective covering. This will prevent getting oil on your hands during the next step.
  • Gently work in the oil: With the filter inside the bag, gently squeeze and manipulate the filter to work the oil into it. Use a gentle squeezing motion to evenly distribute the oil throughout the filter.
  • Ensure thorough oil coverage: Continue working the oil into the filter until all areas are properly coated. This will ensure effective filtration and performance.
  • Ready for installation: Once the oil is thoroughly worked into the filter, it is now ready to be installed in your system. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for proper installation.
